Using indi

indi Tracks: the evidence, without the load

Your child's progress, gathered from everyone already involved, ready for the room where you need it

indi Tracks follows the things that matter for your child, a worry, a goal or a win, over weeks and months. It fills itself from what you and the people around your child already say and do, so when the time comes to show how things are going, the evidence is already there.

You are not the only one holding the picture any more. Everyone who cares for your child adds to it, and indi keeps the track current for you.

Track what matters to you

Tell indi what you want to watch, whether it is a worry, a goal or a win, and it builds the track around your child. From then on you just talk about your days the way you already do, and indi files what fits.

Families track all kinds of things, including:

  • Sensory regulation
  • Meltdowns, and the triggers behind them
  • Sleep, the good nights and the hard ones
  • New foods, the wins and the refusals
  • Speech and language

Why this helps: When someone asks how things have been, a pattern over ten weeks says far more than any single day on its own. Tracks turns everyday moments into something you can actually show.

Starting a track is a short conversation

There are two ways in, and both take only a few words to indi. You decide what is worth watching, indi shapes the track around it, and you approve it with a tap.

  • From your child's profile. Under What we're tracking, tap Start tracking, or Add new once you already have one going. It opens a chat with indi, ready to go.
  • Or just say it to indi. Tell indi you want to start tracking something, like your child's sleep, and you land in the same place.

Then it runs itself: once you approve the track, indi files what fits from your chats and the updates around your child, so it stays current without you keeping it up.

Your whole village keeps it current

No one sits down to fill in a tracker. The people already in your child's life keep it moving just by doing what they do, and indi does the work of turning that into a track.

  • Everyone adds to it. Parents, partners, the carers you invite and the clinicians you connect all feed the same track, from wherever they are.
  • indi does the pulling. It reads what matters out of a chat, a note or a session update and files it to the track it belongs to.
  • It stays current on its own. The track keeps up between appointments, without anyone having to maintain it.

Never all on you: keeping a record is the load indi is built to carry. You get the picture; you do not get another thing to keep up with.

Evidence for the rooms that matter

A pattern you can point to changes the conversation. When you sit down with the people who decide what happens next for your child, the track is the evidence base you would otherwise be building from memory.

  • With a clinician. Show what has actually changed since the last visit, rather than a foggy recap of ten weeks in five minutes.
  • At school or with educators. Bring one clear picture everyone can work from, instead of everybody starting again.
  • For funding and support. Back a request with a record of how things have been over time, not a snapshot of one hard day.

The evidence, gathered as you go

So the case for your child is being built quietly, in the background of an ordinary week, and it is ready the moment you need it.
