Use your NDIS plan
to access indi
Whether you're self-managed or plan-managed, your NDIS funding can cover your indi subscription. Here's everything you need to know.
How it works
Claiming indi through your NDIS plan
The process depends on how your NDIS plan is managed. Choose your pathway below.
Sign up for indi
Download the app and subscribe through the App Store, Google Play, or our website. Choose the annual plan — this is the option that works with NDIS claiming.
Keep your receipt
After subscribing, grab your invoice or receipt from your account. This is the document you’ll use to claim reimbursement from the NDIS.
Submit your claim
Log into the myNDIS participant portal and submit your indi receipt as a claim. You’ll need our ABN (shown below) and can allocate it to the relevant budget category in your plan.
NDIS reimburses you
The NDIS typically processes claims within a couple of business days. The money goes straight back into your nominated bank account.

Where does indi fit in your plan?
indi helps you deliver stronger intervention at home — coordinating with your child's therapy team, tracking therapy goals, and building your capacity as a parent throughout your child's NDIS journey. It fits under three NDIS support categories. Most participants use Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living), which is the most common path. Consumables and Assistive Technology are also options depending on your plan. Your plan manager will pick the bucket that matches your funding.
Capacity building
The most common path. indi delivers structured training for parents to better understand and respond to their child’s disability-related needs — coordinating with the therapy team, tracking therapy goals, and translating therapist recommendations into daily intervention at home. Aligns with ‘Training For Carers / Parents’ and ‘Assistance With Decision Making, Daily Planning’ under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living.
Consumables
An alternative path. indi is a digital subscription supporting your child’s care journey — eligible under the 2025–26 subscription services provisions in Consumables for some plans.
Assistive technology
An alternative path. indi is a low-cost communication and accessibility tool delivered as a subscription — eligible under low-cost AT for some plans.
